General Business Studies Certificate Program

Earn your BBA in general business, followed by an online MBA with a concentration in either business administration, supply chain management, healthcare administration or data analytics in just five years. You must have a 2.0 average or better in the courses listed below in order to graduate. Students must also complete 9 units of upper division General Education and a total of 120 units for the degree. Students receive a broad and generalized understanding of the function of business and how the various sub-disciplines of business interact to contribute to the success of an organization.

No more than 90 hours of these hours may be earned at a community college. MUW does not award credit for technical or vocational courses except in the B.A.S. program. You will study a range of business topics covering management, information systems, marketing, economics and finance. The Program Graduate Competencies listed below identify the major learning goals related to your specific program of study and identify the knowledge and skills you will have when you graduate to be successful in your chosen field. A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to earn the Bachelor of Business Administration General Business Major. The selection of one of two tracks is also required and students must complete 33 credit hours of 300 or 400 level courses to satisfy the General Business Major required electives.
